We are recruiting for an internal Sales and Marketing professional to join our team to drive sales for our growing businesses. Working across our portfolio of companies, Advance Logistics Support and Advance Compliance.

Advance Compliance provides a wide range of health and safety consultancy and advisory services, including risk assessments, audits, GDPR advice, audits and training, Interim Transport Management as well as O’ licence application assistance. Our knowledgeable team of health and safety consultants can act as your point of contact for health and safety advice, as part of legal obligations. Essentially, we work together to ensure absence of risk to safety and health of employees and others ‘so far as is reasonably practicable’

Role Profile

The role can be considered in two parts;
•Sales growth focus, develop and drive new business with customers
•Customer retention and scope development

To develop and drive new, long term, profitable relationships with multiple customers across the sectors.

The candidate will be expected to meet mutually agreed sales and revenue targets for the relevant financial year and will eligible for the talent sales incentive plan. The candidate will have a proven track record of at least 3 years, of achieving successful sales growth selling services. The candidate will have a good understanding of likely sales opportunity and potential revenue pipeline over the next 3 years. The candidate will ideally have an existing customer contacts and sales opportunity network established within the relevant sectors and background in Transport and Logistics would be an advantage.

Typical Deliverables
•Drive revenue through the development and execution of effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in line with the Annual Revenue Target
•Identify and create strategies for new business which would create growth for the company
•Build management relationships with customers to strengthen the talent position and use these relationships to help build a strong sales pipeline to achieve the expected growth
•Responsible for contract negotiations on new business and renewals
•Lead customer proposals and presentations in response to specific opportunities
•Assist colleagues where necessary and/ or requested in contract launch
•Provide and identify all Marketing support to promote the brand profile and develop sales opportunities
•Raise Social Media Presence, digital marketing campaigns
•Cold sales and Telesales

Business Operations Skills:

•Sales experience in selling services, ideally within Transport and Logistics would be an advantage
•Proven success in developing and delivering a sales strategy and achieving successful sales growth in line with the business requirement and personal targets.
•Negotiation and Presentation skills. Strong ICT services and operational understanding, Communication and Critical Thinking skills.
•Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
•Marketing and brand promotion, including Social Media, e-marketing campaigns, websites

** Location:**

The successful candidate will be required to work from our offices in Rugby and Northampton a minimum of 1-2 days per week and be based in the field building sales with a set location parameter and target areas to develop. Reporting to the Director this job will involve working closely with the Compliance Manager and Driving Division Manager.

Salary and Package.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
